Instagram has removed some options for limiting the time you use the app. If earlier the minimum period of time could be set for 10-15 minutes, then after the update it has doubled. TechCrunch writes about it.

It is not possible to set your own time in the app itself, but you can still do it in the iOS settings.

Meta noted that with the help of the update, users will understand the function of time limits. The social network will also send break notifications 10 minutes after the app is opened.. According to representatives of the company, such a solution will save users from numerous messages about the amount of time spent on the social network..

" We hope that the [updated] tools will give people more control over the time they spend on our platforms, as well as encourage conversations between parents and teens about online habits,"
