The document proposes to reduce the fine for HBO without registration by exactly two times - from 340 to 170 hryvnia. In case of repeated violation, the amount will be 340 hryvnia, but at the same time it is proposed to exclude the rule on deprivation of a driver's license for a period of 3 to 6 months.

HBO registration now costs about 3000 hryvnia. The authors of the bill explain their initiative by the fact that drivers choose HBO in order to save money - and most often these are not rich citizens.
