Mercedes-Benz unveiled the all-electric version of the G-Class SUV at the IAA, which opened in Munich in September 2021. A concept called EQG has been demonstrated at the motor show.. The debut of the serial version of the model will take place in the next or 2023.

At the front, the Concept EQG retains the classic round headlights, but loses the traditional radiator grille.. The all-electric version features a glossy Black Panel Grille, characteristic of the Mercedes-EQ sub-brand, with a 3D luminous star, blue pattern and luminous surround.

Like the classic Gelendvagen, its electric version will receive a 2-speed transfer case with a lowered row and a classic chassis design - independent suspension at the front and rigid axle at the rear.. True, it was redesigned to integrate an electric drive..
