Companies Facebook, Twitter, Microsoft and Google agreed to simplify the transfer of users of their personal data between services, as well as strengthen the protection of personal information. This is reported in the blog Facebook.



The data transfer project was named Data Transfer Project, within its framework companies are working to ensure that users can use the personal data of the account of one service in other social networks. Facebook hopes that other market participants will join the project.

"Moving your data between any two services can be complicated, because each of them works differently and uses different types of data that can require certain privacy settings. ] People constantly want to freely move their data between different services, but expect that companies will protect their personal information, "- says the Facebook blog.
