From June to August, hot weather is expected in all regions of the country, exceeding the temperature norm to 2.5 degrees. This was announced today at the meeting of the Commission on Emergencies by the director of the Ukrgidrometcentre Nikolay Kulbida. According to him, in Ukraine there has already come meteorological summer, that is, a steady transition of average daily temperature through a mark of +15 degrees. In June, the air temperature will be above the norm by 1-1.5 degrees throughout the country. In July, a similar situation is expected, only in the Carpathian region this deviation will be even greater - hotter than 2-2.5 degrees. In August, it will be hotter in the western regions, in the rest of the country - up to 1.5 degrees above the norm.

According to Kulbida, to approve such forecasts Ukrgidromettsentr allow data from the National Meteorological Service of the United States, which monthly calculates for the territory of Ukraine the forecast. "In this case, this is for the whole summer, for three months. This temperature is either above the norm, or significantly above the norm. This is especially true of the central and southern regions of Ukraine, "he added.. Kulbida also noted that in April, in most regions of Ukraine, it became the warmest for the entire period of regular observations (which totals from 80 to 150 years), the temperature exceeded the norm by 5-6 degrees.
