Rostransnadzor ordered all Russian airlines to suspend flights on An-148 aircraft. This is written by Vedomosti.
"We have made an order to suspend AN-148 flights in all the airlines in which they are operated," said the head of the department Viktor Basargin. He explained that the decision was made after an unscheduled inspection of the airline Saratov Airlines.
According to the source of the newspaper in the Ministry of Defense, the decision of Rostransnadzor, apparently, was caused by design flaws identified during the investigation of the An-148 airliner of Saratov Airlines.
"Apparently, now the developer of the car - the Ukrainian Antonov - must work out measures to eliminate these shortcomings, and the return of permission for flights will be possible after their elimination," - writes the publication.
We are talking about all Russian airliners An-148. In total there are 12 AN-148s in the park of the RF Ministry of Defense (and three more are ordered), four cars are in the Special Flight Team of the Russian President Administration, two cars in the FSB and the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Civilian operators in Russia have nine aircraft.
In addition, 5 An-158 (an extended version of An-148) is operated by the Cubana airline Cubana (in the summer state at the end of last year there was one) and one more - from the North Korean airline Air Koryo.
As reported, on February 11, 2018. In the Ramenskoye district of the Moscow region An-148 crashed Saratov Airlines. On board the aircraft were 65 passengers and six crew members. Rosaviatsiya called the probable cause of the catastrophe the icing of the receivers of air pressure because the crew did not turn on their heating before departure from Domodedovo.
