The publication reports that the officers of the key command link of combined arms armies and brigades rely on the M-663S Atlas phone, manufactured by the Atlas Scientific and Technical Center.

According to the media, each gadget costs the military department 115 thousand rubles, but fully justifies its price - this phone is able to access the encrypted lines of military communications of Russia through civil cellular networks, including from abroad.

The hardware and operating system of these devices are all Russian. And yet it has a color display with a sapphire crystal and an MP3 player.

The operator was Megafon, which received a license from NTC Atlas for encrypted communication.

Apparatuses have already been issued to the commander of the armies, their deputies, commanders of communications, commanders and commanders of the brigade headquarters.
