Microsoft reduces the price of cheap laptops by almost half in an attempt to win American schools. The company hopes to not lose competition to a cheap Chromebook and goes to unprecedented measures.

Now the cheapest laptop from Lenovo can be bought for 189 dollars.

The American press writes that this laptop does not produce any impression: bulky plastic casing, under the hood is a weak processor Intel Apollo Lake Celeron, but the screen can turn and the laptop turns into a tablet.

And here already for 299 dollars Microsoft offers Lenovo 300e. It already supports work with built-in stylus and touch input.
