The consulting company The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) interviewed more than a thousand directors for innovation of companies around the world. The most innovative company in the ranking in the last year was Apple. The American corporation since 2005 occupies the first line of the BCG rating, the newspaper Kommersant writes.

The second line in the ranking has been invariably since 2006, Google. The third in the ranking of 2017 was Microsoft. A year earlier, technology experts placed not the third largest manufacturer of electric vehicles Tesla. The top-10 ranking also included an online retailer Alibaba, as well as a service taxi order Uber.

The United States is leading in terms of the number of the most innovative companies in the world: in the top 50 from BCG 27 companies - American.

The number of European companies in the rating reached 16 (last year there were ten). And there is no Russian business in the rating (in 12 years, not a single Russian company was on the list from BCG).

Business began to pay more and more attention to the analysis of large data, the speed of introduction of new technologies, as well as mobile products and digital design. Innovation specialists considered such areas as new products and new services of secondary importance.
