Cine archeologist Indiana Jones - after all, a damnably charming personality, even against the background of other Hollywood heroes-simpatians. And, in spite of the fact that the scientific researches of the professor in various exotic countries had sometimes a criminal connotation, Indiana Jones the hero is undoubtedly positive. Still saved the world's cultural heritage from destruction and misappropriation of all bad persons, wrote on potala Crimea. But I recently came across the site of the "Archeology Foundation", where this foundation and the leadership of the Eastern Bosporus Archaeological Expedition "... announce the beginning of recruitment of volunteers wishing to take part in excavations of the ancient necropolis and settlement of Kyz-Aul, the Bosporan city of Kitei, "Kerch" for the next season of 2018 ".

I do not know how the call is going, that is, set, but so far you can admire the fruitful results of the seasons of the previous three years. You look at the photos of cheerful young men and women who literally gushing with energy and youth, under the guidance of young attractive candidates and doctors of science, save from ancient oblivion the ancient Kitezh, and the soul rejoices. And the expanse of the eye: the sunny Crimea, the wild steppe, succulent girls of model appearance in swimsuits and with shovels - just posters in the style of pin-up.

And I remembered Indiana Jones because the excavations, like some of the actions of the hero Harrison Ford, do not quite fit in with the criminal code of the area and the international law that regulates archaeological research. That is, they do not fit together at all. And what is excusable to the hero of the blockbuster, who is saving the world, is not at all to the face of serious scientists who are publicly proud of their participation in illegal archaeological excavations.

Participation in archaeological excavations in the occupied territory, especially without the consent of the state, which owns historical monuments, automatically equates academic scientists with "black" archaeologists, that is, ordinary criminals.

And that there are not written on the beautifully designed website of doctors and candidates of science, the invitation of students and anyone willing to participate in the excavations, even volunteers, is a brutal recruitment into a gang of smugglers.

If archaeologists who feverishly unearthed monuments on the way of the notorious "Tavrida" highway there may still be an excuse that they are trying to save even information about the monuments of archeology of world significance doomed by road workers to be destroyed, then, slowly digging the forgotten south coast of the Kerch peninsula and there is no such justification. But there is a recognized by all world the status of Crimea as the territory belonging to Ukraine and temporarily occupied by Russia.

As you can see, only the Kerch Museum-Reserve can concern the Crimea. The rest of the curators, albeit well-known, act in this project precisely as representatives of the country-occupier, that is, direct accomplices in looting the national heritage of Ukraine.

So this "scientific" project is differently as an example of deception and "framing" of Russian youth can not be called. Exciting work at the excavation site, real scientific discoveries, a wonderful company of intelligent peers, fascinating leisure, interesting lectures by outstanding experts in archeology - what else is needed in the summer for an inquisitive Russian student who is not too interested in politics? Well, is it possible that this month passed in an untouched corner of the Crimean coast with deserted beaches and the clearest sea.

At the same time, I think, it never occurs to children that their activities are illegal and they can already be brought to criminal responsibility in Ukraine. Another question is whether anyone in our belligerent country will be engaged in such a trifle as the identification of ordinary participants in illegal archaeological excavations in the occupied territory. It is to be hoped that many young volunteers who went on this expedition on the sincere impulse of the soul, having learned about the criminal nature of the archaeological project, will ponder whether everything is in order in their Danish kingdom and whether it is possible to consider themselves an honest and decent person digging up other people's monuments.

But with the organizers and scientific leaders of such expeditions, the demand must be completely different. And the introduction of the listed leaders of the expedition of the Foundation into the base of the "Peacemaker" (where all of them have already settled safely) here, perhaps, is not enough.

Here's the prospect of getting into the current sanction list, the State Department, perhaps, would be just right. It's not my vampirism at all - it's urgent to stop the robbery of the Crimea. And if you act, then immediately and backhand.

By the way, Indiana Jones, despite the aforementioned disagreements with the law, basically fought precisely with pirates from archeology, in their robbery completely oblivious to the interstate borders. Just like the "Archeology Foundation".
