The astrophysicist discovered a giant black hole in the constellation of Andromeda, but this powerful gravitational object gradually moves toward the Earth.
In the very center of the Milky Way there is also a large black hole, but in a nearby galactic cluster such an object is even more powerful and active, according to Express.
According to preliminary calculations of scientists, the supermassive black hole in the Andromeda galaxy has dimensions of 4.1 million of our Suns. However, the adjacent star cluster was deleted from the Milky Way at a distance of 2.5 million light. From the Earth, therefore to our Solar system the gluttonous hole from Andromeda will come only after 4 billion years.
As the two galaxies merge, stars and planets will fall into the accretion disk of a black hole, since the orbits of the motion of cosmic bodies in the new emerging "family" will become highly unstable.
