Valentino Rossi started in Jerez from pole position and led all circles, having obtained an easy victory. Moreover, in the first six riders came no one went around each other after the first five laps.

Speaking to reporters after the race, Pedrosa, who finished fourth, said:.

"I did not watch the race, but I think it was quite boring, is not it? The pace of the race and the final time were very low".

"I think the organizers of the championship, and tire manufacturers have to come up with something, because the problem is not in motorcycles from Ducati, Honda and Yamaha".

"The rules are too strict - testing is limited and we need to somehow make improvements. We need to change something, because I do not think in this way, as of now, interested in the championship ".

Pedrosa also expressed disappointment with how the Michelin tires have changed the design after Argentina. In his opinion, such changes hamper the development of program producers.

"Suppose we are working to achieve the greatest possible performance with some tires, Michelin, and then change their structure. All this work and investing in it just go down the drain. For example, we are working on a new swing arm, and they present us with new tires, because we can simply throw away all of the improvements invented by us ".
