Manchester City head coach Enzo Maresca, during the Friday press conference, shared his thoughts on the importance of the upcoming match for the English Super Cup.

" When there is a trophy at stake and you are playing in the finals, you always hope to overcome. So it’s not a friendly match at all. This is the trophy we are trying to get.

We must win the first trophy of the season,” journalist Fabrizio Romano quotes Maresca.

In the match for the English Super Cup, Manchester City will play against the country's champion, Arsenal. The match will take place in Cardiff this week, 16 September.
