Scottish Motherwell officially announced the sale of its 26-year senior Elliot Watt to the Turkish club Samsunspor. The transfer amount for the year is not disclosed, but it is clear that Gravec signed a long-term contract with the new team.

The new Watt club is well known to Ukrainian fans. Samsunspor became the representative of Kiev Dynamon in the league stage of the League of Conferences. In that match, the Turkish team won a home win 3:0.

The Preston native arrived at Motherwell last summer after leaving Burton Albion. This rock has become the right source of his career. Watt had a phenomenal season, playing 42 matches in all tournaments and helping the team finish fourth in the Scottish Premier League..

The great leader of the Scotland youth team (U-21) did not express any emotion and sadly said goodbye to the team:.

“I would like to make the most of this year in order to thank everyone who has been associated with the club for the remaining 12 months – 12 months that have changed my career and life. The encouragement and positivity that I received from the first week of my arrival gave me the impetus to read, study and proceed,” said the newcomer.

Watt also added warm words to the patients:.

" We will be with our homeland forever and will always watch the team’s games; I’m sure we’ll be back soon - I don’t think I’ll be able to keep my lads in Fire Park for much longer,” he added.

Elliot Watt started his football career in the Wolverhampton system. During his career, he played for Carlisle United, Bradford City, Salford City, Burton, and also had a successful loan spell at St. Johnstone, which brought him the respect of scouts.
