PSG set a unique world championship record, surpassing Barcelona and Bayern

French PSG became the author of a new historic achievement in world championships.

According to Opta data, the Parisian club set a record for the number of different footballers who scored goals in one World Cup.

After the matches of the 1/8 finals of the World Cup 2026, the goalscorers of PSG beat eight. The great ball that brought the club a record by scoring a great goal against the Parisian striker Goncalo Ramos, who recently moved to Milan. The forward scored a possible goal for the Portugal national team in the match against Croatia.



With this rank, PSG surpassed the previous record holders - Barcelona and Bayern. The Catalan club scored seven different goals at the 2018 World Cup, and Munich achieved a similar result at the 2014 World Cup.

Along with Ramouche, the list of PSG players who scored at the World Cup 2026 includes Ousmane Dembele, Bradley Barcola, Nuno Mendes, Joao Neves, Desire Doue, Achraf Hakimi and Ibrahim Mbaye.
