Anthony Martial officially announced his match with Monterrey. The French forward and the Mexican club reached an agreement on the pre-string termination of the contract between the parties.
This was reported by private insider Fabrizio Romano.
The 30-year attacker reached Monterrey in the spring of 2025. Before moving to Mexico, he played for the Greek AEK, and even earlier, he won the titles of Manchester United, Seville, Monaco and some other European clubs.
However, the Frenchman was not able to gain a foothold in the new team. Martial played 17 matches in the Mexican Championship and scored just one goal.
After completing the deal with Monterrey, the striker has given up his free agent status and can now negotiate with any club without having to pay transfer compensation.
There is no information until the next time to extend the career of the great Frenchman from France, but it is clear that in the near future we will begin to look at new options for continuing.
