UEFA is unable to impose sporting sanctions on Barcelona from the right of Jose Maria Henriques Negreira, while Real Madrid intends to transfer the materials to the European football body. Mundo Deportivo reports this.

Previously, the president of the Vershkovyh, Florentino Perez, during an emotional press conference, stated that the club was preparing a dossier for UEFA and called Barcelona and the Spanish judicial corps for serious damage.

According to Gerela, UEFA cannot justify sports disciplinary actions through the expiration of the statute of limitations. We are aware of possible damages related to payments to the vice-president of the technical committee of referees, Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira, and his son Javer Enriquez Romero.

The investigation involves payments amounting to approximately 7.3 million euros, which Barcelona made between 2001 and 2018 for consultations before the trial.

It is noted that the regulations of Spanish football provide a territorial statute of limitations for particularly serious sporting injuries. Through these potential disciplinary reports, they lost their legal force even before the information became public in 2023.

It is also reported that the legal department of Barcelona and the professional panel of Spanish arbitrators are analyzing the remaining statements of Perez after his criticism of the Catalan club and the judicial system of Spain.
