Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta shared his feelings after the defeat to Manchester City with a 1:2 draw in the central match of the English Championship tour.

The Spanish fajivet appreciates that the result of the fight was largely due to luck:.

“I don’t think there was any difference between the teams. There are a number of factors. The one who touches the ball at the goal has an element of luck. In another way, when the ball bounces, it goes all the way to Holland,” Arteta said.

The coach also emphasized that his team acted in accordance with the game plan, although in several episodes they suffered from calm:.

“At the end of the day, right from the start, it was clear what the mood of the team was. In the meantime, we could have been a little calm, but otherwise we would have played the game the way we wanted, and we would have had a great chance of winning,” said the mentor.

Arteta recognized that Arsenal had missed an important chance to fight for the championship, and instead called on the team to re-engage:.

“We were very close to victory, but we didn’t survive, and now we know that today we wasted our courage, even our courage. There are still five years ahead. We need to re-engage and start all over again, because from this game we can take a lot of positive moments,” adding.

Five rounds before the end of the English Championship, Arsenal are ahead of Manchester City by three points, potentially having one more match played.
