Real Madrid star Federico Valverde can have his two-match suspension lifted for his performance in the derby with Atletico Madrid (3:2) in the 29th round of the Spanish Premier League.
Valverde withdrew the red card from head referee Jose Munuera Montero in the 77th for a foul against Alex Baena. The referee noted that he received a penalty “for hitting an opponent without stopping within the range of the game, due to the stagnation of supernatural power”. Such offenses may result in a two-match disqualification.
Real Madrid intends to appeal and challenge the referee's decision. Valverde, to the point, became the author of his team’s other goal in the match.
Once the two-match disqualification is confirmed, you will have to miss the away match from Mallorca and the home match from Girona.
Narazy Real takes a different position in the league table, with several points ahead of the leading Barcelona. After the international break, Alvaro Arbeloa's team will play against Mallorca on the 4th quarter.
