Manchester United beat Aston Villa 3:1 in the match of the 30th round of the English Premier League. This result was special for the team’s head coach Michael Carrick, which established a new historical achievement for the club.

The English footballer became the first coach in the history of Manchester United, who managed to win his first six home matches for his team at the Old Trafford stadium.

This debut victory at home was already in the 2021/2022 season, if Carrick immediately resigned from the head coach’s duties. The same Mancunians beat Arsenal 3:2 in a high-scoring match.

After returning to the club this season, Manchester United, under Carrick's leadership, continued their successful streak at home. The team defeated Manchester City 2:0, Fulham 3:2, Tottenham 2:0, Crystal Palace 2:1, and Aston Villa 3:1.

With this rank, Carrick became the author of a new club record, having won six victories in his first six home matches for Manchester United.
