The Catalan giants have identified their main transfer priorities for the summer. Since Alvarez's transfer from Atletico looks financially impossible, head coach Hansi Flick has shown respect for the Egyptian striker.

Barcelona is actively preparing for the summer transfer window. Sporting director Deco and head coach Hansi Flick have already reached positions that require strengthening. According to Sport, the main strategic priority for the Blaugranas is the addition of a high-quality center forward.

The ideal candidate for the job at the Camp Nou is Julian Alvarez. The proposed implementation of the agreement with Atletico Madrid is turning into a logistical and financial nightmare. While Madrid wants to publicly declare that the Argentinean is not for sale, they are pushing on the sidelines that they are ready to consider proposals worth 150 million euros.

Barcelona, which continues to maintain strict financial discipline, has no intention of paying such an astronomical sum. There is only one chance that Alvarez himself will be deprived of his special offer and he will be directly asked for a transfer, otherwise such a scenario looks unlikely.

Looking at the difficulties with Alvarez, Barcelona began to look for bright alternatives. The leading candidate was Manchester City forward Omar Marmush. The Egyptian footballer pays respect to the technical department of the Catalans, who believes that his rookies will fit perfectly into Hansi Flick’s highly tactical system.

Marmoush could end up in Spain as early as 2025 as Robert Lewandowski's successor, or he could move to Pep Guardioli's team. However, his career at Etihad followed a familiar scenario: thanks to the phenomenal form of Erling Goland, the Egyptian may not lose any playing time.

This season he played more than 15 matches in the Premier League (of which only 5 were in the starting stock) and scored 1 goal. Doctors and the shortage of gaming practice, Marmush seriously considers the possibility of changing the club registration in the future.

It is clear that this transfer fee will be lower for the fact that the City paid in order to make this transfer financially beneficial for Barsi. Hans Flick wonderfully remembers the Egyptian's performances in the Bundeslisa for Eintracht Frankfurt and highly values his versatility, technique and durability.

Marmush is not a classic static nine and can play in any attacking position. Barcelona will continue to closely monitor the situation around Gravec and is ready to launch active actions if Alvarez's transfer remains undecided.
