The match was remembered by the active robot VAR, which two corrected the referee’s decisions and helped to determine the share of the goalkeeper.

The rulers already won a penalty at the start after a foul on Pepe, but the referee forfeited the episode without respect. However, the first half was held at a high pace with a great amount of fighting in the center of the field.

Rahunok confirmed Valencia: after the episode in the penalty area, VAR ordered the referee to review the moment from the foul on Sadiku, and the penalty was awarded. Ramadan realized the 11-meter goal, having killed the guests in advance.

Meanwhile, the victory of the “Kazhans” has not lasted long. Already a few miles away, Komesanya quickly received peace after serving Ayoze and rakhunok.

At the end of the first half, VAR got in touch again - this time through the hand of Ramazan at a high penalty kick. Villarreal's penalty was converted by Gueye, and the hosts went to half-time with the advantage.

In the other half, Valencia tried to take over the initiative, controlled the ball more, and did not manage to take advantage of dangerous moments. The best chance was spoiled by Mikautadze, who did not catch the closed cross, and Sadik’s header went through the goal.

Peremoga allowed Villarreal to retain third place in the table and lose three points ahead of Atletico Madrid.

After the defeat, Valencia found themselves unsafely close to the villiota zone, with minimal pressure on the outsiders.
