Atalanti head coach Raffaele Palladino shared his thoughts before the first Champions League playoff match against Borussia Dortmund, which will take place on Tuesday at Signal Iduna Park.
“The fans are the best part of football, there’s a strong atmosphere,” said Palladino. " I want to show off the miracle gru and test myself against a strong opponent"
In the match, the Atalanti team will be without two key strikers - Charles De Ketelaere and Giacomo Raspadori:.
“They are too bad for us, the stench brings unbearableness and bitterness, but injuries are part of football. The one who comes out to replace them can earn everything more,” said the coach.
Palladino also commented on the assessment of chances from Borussia coach Niko Kovac, who confirmed that the offending teams have a 50/50 chance of reaching the 1/8 finals:.
" “I’m not a fan of the game – what’s important for us is consistency and the correct reaction to key moments in the game,” he said.
The head coach also revealed the team’s strategy:.
“We know that Liza’s reputation for champions is very high. Dortmund has wonderful gravitationalists who are very good to train. We want to put them in a tough camp, and we know that we can earn them for 180 dollars."
The match will take place on the 25th of February in Bergamo (Italy).
