Utrecht officially announced the transfer of Ukrainian attacker Artem Stepanov. The press service of the Dutch club informs about this.
The 18-year forward arrived in Utrecht on loan from Bayer Leverkusen with the possibility of a further full transfer.
Stepanov is 192 cm tall, plays in the position of a central striker and is considered one of the promising players of his generation in Ukraine.
Artem started his football career at the Shakhtar Academy, and in 2022 he moved to Nimechchin, becoming a member of the Bayer youth system.
In the first half of the 2025/26 season, the Ukrainian played for Nuremberg on loan in another Bundeslisa, playing 14 matches (753 goals), scoring one goal and giving one assist.
