Head coach Geroni Michel analyzed in detail the team's game after the lost match with Mallorca (2:1) in the 18th round of La Liga and the role of Ukrainian football players Vladislav Vanat and Viktor Tsigankov, informs FutbolFantasy.
The Spanish coach also saw the addition of Vanat, which helped optimize Tsigankov’s group on the flank.
" But Yakbi wouldn’t be Vanata, the team wouldn’t be small if it were Glibini. We changed a small detail, especially with Vanat, and did a very good job. I think that we have perfectly understood the game in terms of pressure,” said Michel.
The coach explained that the change in Vanat’s function had a positive impact on the wings, focusing on the position of Tsigankov, who denied more chances for picking up and fighting for the ball.
“This allowed Tsigankov and Brian Gil to play a little harder and be able to win the rebound, because the opponents, with Murika and Samu, are even stronger in the fight for the other ball and can push you back strongly,” added coach Gironi.
