Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka honestly admitted that the team needed a bit of luck to beat Wolverhampton (2:1) on Saturday evening.
The majority of the match was dominated by curious goals: the Gunners beat two of their opponent’s own goals.
Bukayo Saka commented on the move in an interview with TNT Sports:.
" Today it was on our side. We will take these glasses and we will crumble further. We don’t know until now how important this victory is, but we can be happy tonight,” said the footballer.
Gravets also added that the match would be psychologically rewarding:.
" We told the boys to lose their patience and continue to get rich - and in the end we took away our wine from the city"
Head coach Mikel Arteta felt relieved, but criticized the team for being passive in defense and failing to capitalize on chances early, indicating that the advantage was small but much greater.
The final move Arsenal emerged from the league table by 5 points, shifting pressure to Manchester City.
