The richly rocky brand Lokomotiv was associated with patients from the club from the aggressor country. In Ukraine, various clubs were founded under the name Lokomotiv: Kupyansk or Hrebinka, but none of them became a strong brand with a stable audience. It seems that in Kiev they were going to shout out to the local Dynamo, Obolon and the Left Bank in the fight for the local patient.

The club appeared even before the emergence of the USSR. The official date of the people's birth of Lokomotiv is 1919. And earlier, a club with a similar name was organized in Moscow (it became there in 1922). This Kiev club is part of the Pivdenno-Zahidnaya Salznitsa, one of the oldest in Ukraine. At the same time, it’s true, the locomotive is called Zaldor. In this name the club was alive until 1935, when it changed its name and became Lokomotiv. In 1936, along with the name of the club, the logo was updated.
The locomotive was sent to the championship of the USSR in Vishya Liza, where it was planted on the 17th month of 1938. After another world war on the professional level, the team was reformed and played as amateurs. True, in 1980, Lokomotiv gave up a new life - the team’s warehouse was renovated and they won the championship of the Ukrainian SSR. And in 1987, the Zalizniki rebels played on the professional level... until 2023.
At the same time, people in Kiev lost their lives, not even close to the share of Lokomotiv. Oleksandr Egorov, who serves as Football's caterer, became one of them.. ua we have an idea to renew the club of champions, having felt the need to return Lokomotiv’s professional status to another six-member team.
– This idea came to me less than 6 years ago, since the grave on Lokomotiv. It is clear that no one understands why Lokomotiv, having lost the status of a professional club, plays only in the championship of the city of Kiev, there were many possibilities about this. Quite a few Lokomotiv graduates played in top teams, including in the UPL. It is clear that Loko trains top players and maintains a long-term academy, as it does every day in other clubs, one of our priorities was to create a professional team and return Lokomotiv to professional status.
Cup ambitions and participation in Another League Lokomotiv's successes in the successful Cup of Ukraine undefeated. The capital's team's leader is not a fan: the club has ambitions to win this trophy. And until this bitter rozigra everything turns out to be a bark of a mallet.

At the same time, the club’s leadership informs that the team’s promotion to the First League will entail much more spending than the actual. However, Lokomotiv is prepared for such a scenario.
– There are no costs, but we, fortunately, are actively working with various philanthropists, partners, ex-football players and a large number of organizations that are moving from betting and burning companies, which potentially. It is necessary to understand: the more we stand, the more we know about us, the more beautiful displays we give, the greater the involvement on the side of various companies that work with us, - like a ceremonial club.

Obviously, during the period of the full-scale war of the Russian aggressor against Ukraine, few people dared to launch a professional football club. In such minds, football and sports have a desire to move to a different level, and even the defense and social spheres require funding much more urgently. In addition to Lokomotiv, there is a main partner – Ukrzaliznytsia, therefore, the club is working on expanding the number of partners.
“Our sponsors include a dozen companies. WOG is one of them, a chain partner of the children's academy. Rashta is the support of international organizations and foreign philanthropists. Ukrzaliznytsia is not a sponsor, she is our “mother”: we work on its infrastructure and the Ukrzaliznytsia club, but through the military affairs they cannot see the costs of our development. And this is entirely clear, but in the end the head meta is a victory.
The Ukrzaliznya will be shelled today, and the necessary expenses will be spent on upgrading critical infrastructure. We simply cannot come to Ukrzaliznytsia and say that we need money for the development of football and salaries for football players. We have homeownership: the Loko project invests in management on the basis of self-sufficiency. Then you can generate finance yourself to fund. This is a cry for me, but on such minds I was ready to take this project into management,” said Oleksandr Egorov.
And although the club may still look modest today, at Lokomotiv’s home matches everything looks decent. Brand managers are constantly working on various promotions, most importantly, to support military service members. At the home match with Penuel, to the butt, the Anthem of Ukraine was crowned with the honor of the club Academy, and the first symbolic blows to? And also, the team has powerful fans - ULTRAS BLOCK, who actively support them at the Bannikov Stadium. Ultras z? were the result of the collaboration of “Lokomotiv” with GO “4308”, which was formed by veterans of the military service special purpose brigade “AZOV” NSU. Infrastructure: a new stadium and renovation in the wake of the Russian attack In 2024, the Lokomotiv stadium in Kiev recognized its destruction as a result of the Russian-terrorist attack. The frame of the stadium was rebuilt, and the club said that the Russians would not be able to complete the laborious process.
The Lokomotiv stadium reconstruction project received foreign donors. Zokrema, the measure of Paris Anne Hidalgo and the American philanthropist Howard Buffett are supporting the Kiev club and the beginning of reconstruction is already planned for the evening.
“Anne further encouraged us after the rush, it was the encouragement of the training process, and not the stadium: they invested in updated water supply, in boilers and air conditioners, which the refueling stations did not have since Russian times. The stinks had already subsided so that the children’s academy could stay afloat.
As for the reconstruction of LocoCity, we have already completed a move from the main partner - the Howard Buffett Foundation. But I think that our French partners and European colleagues, and friends from various organizations or foundations will succeed. The beginning of daily planning for the evening. We will immediately dismantle, destroy those that were not destroyed by the Russian missile, and after that we will move directly to the liberation process. “We plan to support the Republic of Poland,” said Oleksandr Egorov..
At the same time, in support of the Howard Buffett Foundation, Lokomotiv renovated the stadium near the Solomyansky district of the capital. Yogo was revived on the 10th of Wednesday, the complex was called LOKO CHOKOlivka, but vikorista yogo is not for an adult team. This project has a social purpose: it will create a barrier-free space that will become a post-rehabilitation center for veterans and military service members. The complex offers a variety of sports, including wheelchair basketball, petanque, pickleball, table tennis and chess.
– LOKO CHOKOlivka will be the center of veteran sports, a destination for military service members, people with disabilities, veterans and members of their families, as well as for our children. – We are very glad that it was possible to realize this dream and reconstruct the stadium, which will be closed for more than 30 years. As a result, we have an excellent example of earning not from state funds, but from investments from foreign organizations, partners and philanthropists. This may serve as a signal for all other social projects in Ukraine: there is no need to be afraid, no need to knock on different doors, because you can lead to the most divine world.
However, if we talk about the main stadium of Lokomotiv, then during its reconstruction the arena will be converted to 3000 seats. It seems to the Kerivnitsa club that since the team has achieved the task of advancing the class of the upcoming season in the First League, then we have a stadium that is comparable to the strength of the First and Other Leagues. The club should talk about UPL Kerivniki carefully, but they should start thinking about the stadium with a natural field as the team reached the First League.
Academy: from early childhood to adult football Pevno, that the academy is the one who writes the most in Lokomotiv. The club system has teams of various categories: from U-3 to U-19. Kiev employs 800 children, and another 400 work at the club’s branches in various places: Lviv, Dnipro, Odessa and Kharkov. The club plans to get even more children, childcare, and the well-known project LOKO CHOKOlivka plans to increase the number of young football players under the care of the club to more than 1000 in the capital of Ukraine.
In fact, the Academy is the support for the first team. Their recruits are already playing for Lokomotiv at Drugaya Liza, and the coaching staff is carefully following the U-19 team: there you can really see the strength. The middle century of the gravers of the first team of Lokomotiv - 23.8 rocks, in our warehouse there is no water gravel in the age of 30 rocks or more.
– We have Yesaulov, Kononov... We are very closely following the U-19 team, there are good young people there, we get them to training. For example, Tkachenko, Zub, Degtyar – these are the graves of the double, the stink of 2008 fate of the people, and they are already getting ready to train for the first team. However, the Russian missile attack on the infrastructure of Lokomotiv last winter also impacted the youth academy club. Through this, it was possible to find other facilities for training teams until the club stadium is renovated.
“Our children are training their minds after a missile strike, after the depletion of basic life and on the really rotten surface of a football field, which is already 14 years old,” says Oleksandr Egorov. – It was my dream to renovate this stadium. While we are reconstructing it, one part will be located at the new stadium on Chokolivci, and the other part, I promise, on the fields of KNUBA and CSK, which we will rent near the main arena.
Zagalom, Lokomotiv - not the only new creation of the capital's professional club. Together this season, Athlete and Rebel are fighting for the fight of the Kiev gaze.
Despite the war, the terrible blows of the Russians on the Ukrainian housing and industrial infrastructure, football does not die and is still trying to develop. In the history of Ukrainian football there have been a lot of clubs that have expressed the sympathy of the spectators, but have also expressed their gratitude. And yet, if new names appear on our football map, a small positive emotion will arise in the depths of our souls, which will soon develop into the hope that millions of people will play in Ukraine, so to speak..
