Former Dynamo Kyiv winger Benjamin Verbic became a player for Greek Levadiakos. One of the outsiders of the Greek championship announced on his official website the start of cooperation with the Slovenian. The 31-year-old joins his new team as a free agent after recently terminating his contract with Panathinaikos. Levadiakos is currently third from bottom in the Greek Championship, occupying 12th position.
Verbic has been playing for Panathinaikos since the summer of 2022, but this season he stopped being included in the team’s roster and spent only a couple of minutes on the field in the Europa League qualifying match. In total, the Slovenian played 58 matches for his previous Greek club, scoring seven goals and two assists. Verbich was part of Dynamo Kyiv from January 2018 to March 2022. Earlier it was reported that the ex-Dynamo striker became a middle-ranking player in the Czech second division.
