The midfielder shared his thoughts after leaving Dynamo.
Dynamo senior Volodymyr Shepelev commented on his departure from the Kiev club.
" First of all, I decided to win everything in Ukraine that was possible at the Dynamo warehouse - becoming a champion, winning the Cup and the Super Cup of the country. The remaining fates from which I suffered a little - either injury, or losing out to competition. So now you decide to change your career and move on and try playing in a different team.
Because I'm in Dynamo, I'll be deprived of good tires. I wish everyone success, staying in the Ukrainian Championship. I believe for myself that it will be right if I go. Besides, the team has a lot of young players. But for me, as soon as I get ahead of myself, I want to try something new for myself. I don’t want to just sit on the bench and watch the football on the other side. I am ambitious, I want to earn money, and for me this is the most important thing.
And as soon as Dynamo competed, I’m so happy that I can’t guess. I wish the boys success, always cheer for the team and admire their matches, if possible.
I remember how I never came to the Dynamo school. Then it was important to select the gravel people who had the greatest fluidity, but I wasn’t any kind. Ale Pavlo Mikolayovich Kikot, having believed me and deprived him of his group. I developed, won the Ukrainian championship with the team, and became a champion of the U-19 and U-21 championships.. So, my way to the first team will be folded, but at the same hour we will act and tsikavim.
As if I were going back to my childhood days, when I just signed up for the football section in Rednaya Odessa, I didn’t think that I would become a professional football player.. We always made friends from here and there, marveled at the matches of the Ukrainian championship, and I couldn’t realize that I would play there now that I was winning in my career. At the same time, the decision to publish the footballer’s career was not spontaneous. I understand that everything will lie in your hands - first of all, according to your work, there may also be a present share of luck.
Best wishes for Dynamo? Without question, we have won the treble in Ukraine, since we became champions and valedictorians of the Ukrainian Cup and Super Cup. We also defeated Shakhtar in the fight for the Super Cup, when we gave up, but turned the tables. You can imagine the atmosphere like it was in the stands if there were outside stadiums. Now, unfortunately, it’s no longer the same - there’s war, it’s important to everyone, and, apparently, there’s no time for football. Before the war, people went to football, and in reality it seems simply incredible. Words simply cannot describe them - you need to notice them for yourself. I really really want the war to end soon, for people to return to an extremely peaceful life, to fill the stadiums and cheer for their favorite team.
I have Bula Rozmova with a head coach. He told me bluntly that there are a lot of young players in the team, and that the club is ready to look at options for extending my career in another club. I understood everything, and my agent began to take care of this food. Also Bula Rozmova with Igor Mikhailovich Surkis. They told me that I could train with the team, in exchange for the contract, get a salary, maybe become a rotation leader, and for a short time they would let me go. Well, I said that I want to spend, and not just take money. The President please ask me for assistance, I am very grateful for the understanding of this situation..
There are 27 rocks, and I want to try myself in a different place - to find a good option and continue to play on a high level. At Dynamo, I understand for myself that the moment has come, if I need to say goodbye and move on, and take the place of the young grave who knocks on the door of the first team, I don’t want.
We are parting in good clothes, we have taken care of everything. I will continue to support Dynamo, and I cannot achieve the same image.
We were always honest, I was determined to act, I was determined to act. So, there were injuries, through some kind of injury, there were singing moments, but at the same time it’s my decision, and I want to try something new for myself,” Shepelev said to the club’s press service.
The 27-year-old Ukrainian is a member of the White-Blues and has spent his entire career with Dynamo. 229 matches so far, 7 goals and 19 assists.
This season, Shepelev played one match, having won more than one match.
