Dieter dedicated his entire career to the club from Frankfurt, playing 395 matches, scoring 66 goals and providing 12 assists.
In 1959, he was one of the key leaders of the team that triumphed in the German championship.
For the upcoming season, Eintracht will have performances on the international stage - at the European Champions Cup. Eintracht played until the final of the tournament, having suffered a devastating loss to Real Madrid with a 3:7 draw - the most productive in the history of the head European Cup.
Lindner's career ended in 1971, and in the 1966/67 season he took another trophy with the club, winning the Intertoto Cup.
