The Spurs goalkeeper shared his thoughts about his injury.
Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario commented on his injury in the Premier League match against Manchester City (4:0).
“Sometimes football gives you its peaks, and sometimes it throws you calls that you don’t get. I died 60 years ago on the Etihad with a broken ankle, having given the commands absolutely everything I could.
Unfortunately, there was no way to bypass this... I needed an operation.
I'm disappointed that I won't be able to help the team right now.
Many thanks to the doctors and staff. The operation went well, and from tomorrow I will work diligently so that I emerge stronger, healthier and ready to give everything for you again.
Thank you to the Spurs fans for your love. We’ll be playing on the field soon,” Vicario wrote on his Instagram.
It was previously reported that Tottenham would try to sign a new goalkeeper in the city.
