The trophy will be played by French Cup champion PSG and Ligue 1 champion Monaco.

Initially, the match for the French Super Cup 2024 was planned to be held in Beijing on the 8th September and to coincide with the 60th century of the establishment of French-Chinese diplomatic relations. The tournament was postponed, but the organizers did not revoke the remaining permission to hold the Games in China.
