Dmitry Mikhailenok’s team recently started competing in the European Junior Championships.

In the opening match of the Euro 2025 qualifying cycle, the Ukrainian U-19 national team lost to the national team of Kazakhstan with a 1:2 draw.

The guests opened the game in the ninth quarter thanks to the efforts of Tamerlan Agimanov, who snatched the ball from the Blue-Zhovtyh's penalty area and calmly punched the goalkeeper's way.

Then, on the 35th line of the same Agimanov scored a goal with a direct shot from the corner, scoring a clean sheet at the goal of Vyacheslav Surkis.

Dmitry Mykhailenko's team managed to finish by 62 minutes when Matviy Ponomarenko converted the penalty.

In this manner, Ukraine has recently begun the election cycle for Euro 2025. In another match of the quartet, the Netherlands beat Slovenia (2:0).

The Blues-Zhovti will play their next match against Slovenia, on the 16th of leaf fall, at 13:00 outside Kiev.
