Uruguay may already reach the conclusion of Serie A.
Genoa on its official website announced the signing of a contract with senior player Gaston Pereiro.
The deal with the 29-river Uruguayan is insured until the summer of 2025. The footballer was given to the Italians without any costs, having for the time being had the status of a free agent.
Gaston's remaining club is in Cagliari, which lost the last summer. He also played for PSV, Nacional and Ternanu. Crimea, Pereiro played 13 matches for the Uruguay national team, scoring five goals.
Thus, Genoa chose a replacement for the injured Ukrainian Ruslan Malinovsky, who will no longer play this season.
After seven rounds, Genoa scored five points and is in 18th place in the Serie A standings.
