The official Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Football Association reported about the exit from life of Anatoly Konkov.

The reasons for the death of the ex-president of the Ukrainian Football Federation (spring 2012 - late 2015) are not immediately known.

As a footballer, Konkov is best known for playing for Shakhtar and Dynamo. With the Kiyans, they won the USSR Championship, the USSR Cup, the Volodymyr Cup and the UEFA Super Cup four times.

After completing his career as a football player, Konkov became a coach and was able to work with Tavria, Shakhtar, Mikolaev, Vorskla and Stallu (Alchevsk). He also favored the youth (U-21) and senior national teams of Ukraine.
