Taras Mikhavko shared his thoughts after the first game with Salzburg.

Dynamo Kiev manager Taras Mikhavko commented on his team’s defeat in the first match of the playoff round of the Champions League qualification against Salzburg (0:2).

“Cover what we missed, although we could have scored, we also had good chances. Ale, it’s a pity, this is the result. Tim is no less, let’s not give up, since there’s still a test match, we’ll get ready, analyze the executions, and everything will be fine. It’s just the first half of our rivalry with Salzburg, the other match will be in Austria. Let's get to this point in a good mood, we'll analyze everything and then we'll play.

Of course, Salzburg have a good team, they slowed down the pace and it was not easy. We knew it would be like this since the Champions League playoff match, and all the teams here are of a good level. Well, we were getting ready, but, unfortunately, it so happened that we missed the ball in the first half, and this, of course, impacted us. They didn’t give up, they wanted to score, and they went out to the next half thinking that they needed to score as a minimum to equalize the goals.. But it turned out that our goal was awarded a penalty, and it hit us again on a psychological level. Tim is no lesser, everyone just wanted to score a goal, they rushed to achieve it, but, unfortunately, it didn’t go far. I think we still have everything ahead of us, including the final match, so we will try to get a positive result for ourselves.

Dynamo Kiev - RB Salzburg 0:2 Video of goals and review of the match It was important to play against Salzburg on the other side? Not those, it’s important. They just have a good team, the football players are well prepared physically, and it wasn’t easy for us – that’s for sure. We knew the stinks of such a style, but, to be honest, it was not easy.

Of course, the weather affected our team, but for both teams, there is no point in complaining.

There were as many as thousands of spectators present at the stadium? We felt this support, the skin quill, and all the patients who came to the stadium and supported us. So, obviously, a blessing to the Fertile Forces of Ukraine, without which we could not have settled here,” Mikhavko quotes the club’s press service.

Guess what, the match between Salzburg and Dynamo will take place on September 27, about 22:00 in Kiev. On Football. ua online text broadcast of the match will be available.
