Ukrainians will perform on par with the best European clubs.

The UEFA Referee Committee has publicly monitored the team of referees as they work at the 2024 UEFA Super Cup match between Real Madrid and the Italian Atalanta.

The head referee of the team is 36-year-old Swiss Sandro Scherer.

Six of the seven team members who were with him at Euro 2024 will assist Scherer. The assistants will be Swiss athletes Stefan de Almeida and Jonas Jerny, the role of the fourth referee was entrusted to the Ukrainian Mikola Balakin.

VAR referee - Bastian Dangert (Nimeccia), the role of VAR assistants is determined by Feday Sun (Switzerland) and Christian Dangert (Nimeccia).

Earlier it became known which referee was officiating at the match between Dynamo Kiev and Partizan Belgrade.
