The place of the problematic Dnipro-1 can be taken by one of the four clubs of the First League.
Metalist 1925 published an application on its official website, confirming its readiness to compete for a place in the Ukrainian Premier League for the 2024/25 season.
Previously, the Kharkiv residents withdrew the list from the UPL and PFL, which described the situation with the problematic Dnieper-1, which, despite everything, was not available for the start of the upcoming season.
In connection with this, it was proposed to hold a mini-tournament from four teams of the First League - Metalist 1925, Minai, Left Bank and Epicenter.
" On all sides, it’s a pity that all the warehouses are missing: preparing teams for this tournament, organizing it, starting a new season. Therefore, all the involved parties may show their deepest viciousness and not be drawn out by the evidence, as we have already, unfortunately, beware.
So that all the details are as possible as possible and the teams can concentrate in the sports warehouse, and not in the office. And on the football field we will win a place in the UPL,” said the general director of the club Andriy Nedelin.
Also, according to the Kharkiv residents, not all of the four clubs gave their UPL and PFL confirmations before the mini-tournament.
Previously, the UAF posted on the UPL page about the situation with Dnipro-1.
