The Blues announced their fifth summer transfer.
Maintainer Renato Veiga, having left Basel and moved to Chelsea, transfers the official website to the Premier League club.
The contract with the 20-year-old Portuguese is insured until the end of 2031. The package includes an option to extend for another season. According to transfermarkt, Basel took 14 million euros for its citizen.

Previously, Chelsea signed forward Fulgham Tosin Adarabioyo, adding Leicester City's senior Kiernan Dewsbury-Gaull, Aston Valley's senior Omari Kellyman and Barcelona striker Mark Guyu.
