Dynamo Kyiv played its first control match at the initial training camp in Austria as part of preparations for the start of the new season.

Oleksandr Shovkovskiy's team teamed up with the German Paderborn. The match with the team, which took place at the other Bundeslisa, ended without goals scored and with a score of 0:0.
