As journalist Fabrizio Romano reports, the 24-year-old Dutchman gave the green light to move to Manchester United after direct contracts of his agents with the bosses of the “red devils”.
It appears that the specific nature of the contract is not a problem for Manchester United, so the representative of the Premier League will now continue negotiations with Bayern on the structure of payments for the transfer of de Ligta.
In the 2023/24 season, Matthijs de Ligt took part in 30 matches of Munich in all tournaments, scoring 2 goals and an assist. His contract with Bayern is insured until the end of 2027.
