The player of national team Serbia and Juventus was substituted due to an injury at the end of the 1st half of the match against national team England (0:1).
“As the national team doctor Dejan Aleksandritch said, his left knee is damaged. The closure showed partial damage to the outer colateral ligament, renewal of the trivatime at least two years ago.
Kostic will be out for two more days to watch the match against Slovenia, and then leave the Serbian national team,” said Serbian Football Union representative Milan Vukovic.
Serbia will play the upcoming match against Slovenia on the 20th.
