The contract with the 37-year-old Belgian will be insured for one season - until the summer of 2025, after which Dris will retire.
Guess what, Mertens will move to Galatasaray in 2022, after nine years at Napoli.
Last season Dris played 51 matches, scoring 12 goals and providing 19 assists.
At the end of the season, Galatasaray became the champion of the Turkish Super League, ahead of Fenerbahce, who can defeat Jose Mourinho, by three points.
