50 players are vying for a spot in the national team season.

The Spanish La Liga on its official website announced a list of 50 candidates for elimination before the symbolic gathering of the 20th season.

Two Ukrainians have made it to the top of the list: Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin and Zhironi striker Artem Dovbik.

It is significant that Lunin has only two competitors - Unai Simon from Athletica and Alvaro Valles from Las Palmas, while Dovbik has a great list of 18 competitors, including such stars as Vinicius Junior, Robert Lewandowski, Antoine Griezmann and others.

The list includes 3 goalkeepers, 16 defensive players, 12 defensive players and 19 forwards.

Real Madrid has the largest representation - all of them, while Barcelona and Girona have five candidates each.

Voting for candidates takes place until May 5th. You can vote for Ukrainians on the official website.

This season Lunin played 20 matches against La Lisa, including 10 clean sheets with 13 goals conceded. Dovbyk has 31 matches, 19 goals scored (the most in the championship) and five assists.
