Head coach of the Ukrainian national team Sergiy Rebrov commented on his team’s victory in the final match of the Euro 2024 playoffs against Iceland (2:1).

“As I already said, I am so grateful to the patients who were pushing us hard after the missed goal.. All the boys felt this encouragement and all deserve this victory, both the ZSU, the patients, and our team.

Feeding for the national team goalkeeper position is always open. Food service for Euro 2024 is not closed for Zhodny Gravec.

It is important now that the players return to their clubs, take up playing practice, in order to prepare for the European Championship.

We understand how important this victory and qualification for Euro 2024 is for Ukraine, especially for the entire Ukrainian people, for all our soldiers who are fighting for freedom,” Rebrov said at the post-match press conference.
