According to Dzherela, the 55-year-old Algerian Fahivet has lifted an eight-match disqualification for his negative comments after the opening match of the tournament against Morocco (0:3).

After the opening game of CAN 2023, Ramouche stated that Morocco may join the Confederation of African Football by manipulating the calendar and judging.

Tanzania will play its next match tomorrow against Zambia, 21 September.
