Everton and Nottingham Forest were linked to the broken profitability rules and the development of the English Premier League.

It is significant that Premier League clubs are allowed to earn a maximum of 105 million in earnings over three seasons (35 million per season).



The Everton and Nottingham Forest reports have now been handed over to the head of the judicial panel, which is to serve as an independent commission to determine specific sanctions.. Clubs can be punished with either a penny fine or a point.

The Premier League stated that the offended teams confirmed that they would break the rules during the period that will end with the 2022/23 season.
