Liverpool hosted Fulgham as part of the first EFL Cup semi-final match. The Merseysiders were seriously approaching the game, remembering how many problems the “cottar residents” caused them in the Premier League (4:3) and relying on the success of Middlesbrough in the match against Chelsea. We can say that Jurgen Klopp has shown all his strongest players.

Fulgham, in his own way, believed that it was possible to rebuild Liverpool and begin to implement his strategy from the very beginning. Marco Silvi's team was overwhelmed by great forces and looked for its chance. Liverpool insisted on controlling the ball, otherwise they could not create a great chance. The greatest danger came from Joti, but the Portuguese’s activity did not end with shots on goal.

Vrakhovaya tselkovit territorial advantage of the “chervonih”, it was a little unrecovered, but Fulgham himself was ahead, if Willian picked up the ball in someone else’s free kick and shot between Van Dijk’s legs - there was no chance for Kelleher. 0:1. After this, Jurgen Klopp’s team continued to attack with great forces, otherwise they could not defeat the opponent’s masquerading defense.

The teams decided to score 0:1, and at the beginning of the second half, the main goal was Gravenberch, a high-spirited player, shooting from between the penalty kicks, but in the end the lack of accuracy would ricochet. Jurgen Klopp released Gakpo and Nunes in order to change the game's approach to his own core, but this initially led to failures in defense - Decordova-Rid turned into operational space several times, but the approaches did not end with nothing.

Have been replacing it for years. Nunez immediately passed to Jones, who shot from between the penalty area - the ball bounced off the top corner. 1:1. Already for a decade, Jota passed to Nunes on the flank, and he shot from the center, de Gakpo successfully punched in one shot. 2:1. Fulgem never managed to come to you.

After this, little came out of the attack for the guests. Liverpool move forward, don’t be surprised by the advantage in the rakhunku.

“Chervoni”, obviously, wanted to ensure themselves a greater advantage before the match in London. At one point, Darvin Nunes punched one shot from a driving position, but hit Leno in the leg. The final whistle sealed Liverpool's 2:1 win, and then everything was up in the air for the match.

Liverpool – Fulgham 2:1.
