The Swiss center back signed with the Magpies next month.

Newcastle United on their official website announced the extension of the contract with central manager Fabian Schar.

The 32-year-old Swiss signed a new contract with the Magpies, which is insured until the summer of 2025.

" I feel so comfortable living in Newcastle. I love this place, I love this club and the most famous patients. “I can’t describe in words how much I love them and how much their support means to me,” Cher said.

Fabian Scher has been playing for Newcastle since the summer of 2018 after transferring from Deportivo for €4 million.

The Swiss center back has played 28 matches this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
