On April 27, a meeting of the registration committee was held in Budinka football to establish the replacement of delegates and the quorum of the XXVI Congress of the UAF. The Commission confirmed the registration of UAF members for delegates to the congress and established a quorum for the congress.

Today there was a meeting of the working group to check the qualifications of candidates for the position of UAF President, nominated for election at the successive XXVI Congress of the UAF on 25 June 2024.

In all the protocols for the seat of the UAF President, the candidacy of Andriy Mykolayovich Shevchenko is mentioned.

The working group reached the conclusion that the candidacy of Andriy Shevchenko meets the criteria established by the UAF Statute for candidates for election as UAF President. Also, according to the Statute of the Ukrainian Football Association, the candidate has been denied the right to participate in the elections of the UAF President.

Thus, Andriy Shevchenko is the only candidate for the UAF President at the next XXVI Congress of the Ukrainian Football Association.

Elections will be held on the 25th.
